PHONAR: lost and found Kodak moments

Here is the idea. We all understand what a ‘Kodak moment’ is, right? We all have photographs that were taken with the concept of a Kodak moment in mind; preserving a memory.

However, the generations before us have lost kodak moments. The photographs of those nameless faces in our parents or grandparents albums are, to us, found moments. If you wander through most markets these days you will find hundreds of ‘lost’ Kodak moments on sale for pennies. Lost, in the fact that the person taking the photo has lost this moment. The idea behind this project is to connect the lost and found. We have found these moments. The photographs of those nameless faces in our parents or grandparents albums are, to us, found moments.

So I post this to you, hoping you will help me. Find that lost moment and post it with your story of who you think it shows or what you think is happening. Maybe we can link some lost and found moments to find the real story?

Please join, all images and stories will be credited to you. Please send these to my email : je.sutton@live.co.uk and I will repost them for everyone to see both here and through PHONAR itself.

If you do this, you’re the best.
