Through the course of the exhibition, myself and the other artists chosen to exhibit alongside Marta took it in turns to open the gallery and remain there for the course of the day and to engage with those viewing. I worked three days here, and was amazed at the amount of people coming through the door. This is no reflection on the work exhibited, it was based on what I had heard from others I knew who had worked in galleries and had very quiet days. The location of the Glass Box I think makes is such a successful place to exhibit, as many people were simply stopping on their way past and coming in for a closer look. Engaging in conversation with the viewers, and explaining the work they inquired after was a very rewarding experience, as it allowed me to see new people interested in the work.
