I am still in control of the PICBOD Facebook page, which is helping to keep the followers up to date on what is happening on the official website. I link back to the site with each new post, and have been trying to encourage the followers to share their work via flickr or by sharing a link to their personal sites. At first there was a limited response, but with some persistance photographers have begun sharing links and uploading their work. By constantly reminding them to use flickr and tag them as picbod as apposed to uploading them to Facebook itself, I am helping to prevent problems caused by Facebook’s ownership contracts.
Posting questions that engage the followers is getting a nice feedback and helping to connect those inside the University course and those outside. Here is a link to the Facebook Site I am running.
