I decided to use 35mm film to shoot this work, because I feel it is a much more intimate way of working in that it is as hit and miss as capturing the moment itself, if that makes sense. Capturing the right moment is hard and unpredictable whether it will crop up without being forced. Getting a good photo that hasn’t blurred and is at the right moment can be just as unpredictable. With digital it is too easy. Film you have to wait and wonder and hope that you got the shot you wanted.
